Panpepato

Our take on the traditional spiced Italian fruit and nut treat that is neither cake nor bread, but closer to  nougat. The chocolatey cousin of the panforte.

Ingredients: Nuts(Almonds, Pistachios, Hazelnuts), Dried Fruit(Cranberries, Sour Cherries, Orange Peel, Candied Ginger), Chocolate(Belgian Dark Couverture, Dark Coating Chocolate, Dark Cocoa Powder), Spices(Cinnamon, Ginger, Black Pepper, Cayenne) Honey, Sugar, Organic Marquis Flour, Salt.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Keep wrapped or store in an air-tight container. Do not refrigerate.

Serving Suggestion: Perfect accompaniment for a meat & cheese board or just as good by itself.
